STA Travel

STA Travel is a great place to book a holiday through. I was able to book a two week holiday to the west coast of America through them with no problems. Sorted out reasonable flights there and back and also accommodation in three different cities, along with a camping trip which was booked with another company through STA. Couldn’t recommend STA Travel enough.

Local Parks & Gardens

Dudhope Park

1 Inverlaw Pl, Dundee DD3 6HL, UK – 01382 433710

Love dudhope park l. Great park and skate park. Amazing views and beautiful Dudhope castle. A historic place

I have been here on several occasions and walk through this to get to my volunteering place at the back (Dundee Therapy Garden). This park is family friendly, I see plenty of dog walkers there and family having great times there. A must!

Magdalen Green

97 Magdalen Yard Rd, Dundee DD2 1BA, UK – 01382 433710

Nothing special, good for a quick walk to stretch your legs. Grass is a little patchy after this year's very hot summer. On a clear, sunny, dry day it can be very pleasant to sit and read a book on one of the benches. You can see trains passing on the line on the other-side of the fence, and also watch planes pass overheard as they takeoff and land at the airport.

A great place to walk a dog and watch trains cross the Tay Railway bridge. Mackintosh Patrick's house faces onto it. Children's play park at one end. A short walk from thown centre.

Balgay Park

Dundee DD2 2UB, UK – 01382 433710

I have been here on several occasions and can’t stop going here, it’s one amazing place and would suggest that those wanting a safe, family friendly place to take their loved ones and pets come here. There are lots of open space for exploration, wooded areas and fun for the kids. Great every year at the fireworks and here is west fest held here which is apparently good. Worthy of a 5 star!

Lovely park to walk around. Popular with dog walkers. Summer and autumn are ideal times of the year to visit.

Great website!. Click below to find gardens open during the year around Invergowrie or Angus. There are photos and lots of detail about the garden.
